Welcome

We are Tinto Music and Arts CIC, an established non-profit company situated close to the beautiful Tinto Hill in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

TMA was set up in July 2014 by Meg Beresford and Paul John Dear with a view to meeting the following aims:

• Promote and develop all forms of Music and Art at Wiston and the surrounding rural community
• Support the development of traditional and contemporary forms of Scottish Folk Music and Arts
• Provide education and training opportunities for musicians and artists, both local and international
• Produce inspirational cultural music and arts experiences and collaborations
• Develop links with existing providers and with the local and national ( Scottish) education network
• Explore the links between music, arts and ecology.
• Create unique performance and workshop spaces that are environmentally sustainable and which provide a focal point for music and the arts
• Create spaces for Mindfulness and Peace
